Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menggambarkan gambaran umum proses pembentukan bokar di Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, 2) mengkaji mutu bokar petani di Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, 3) menganalisis pengaruh faktor jenis klon, umur tanaman, bahan non karet (tatal), media penyimpanan dan waktu penyimpanan terhadap mutu bokar. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis linear berganda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, Kecamatan Rawas Ulu, yaitu Desa Lesung Batu, Desa Lesung Batu Muda dan Desa Sungai Kijang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ialah sampling insidental dengan jumlah ukuran sampel sebanyak 44 petani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) proses pembentukan bokar dimulai dari persiapan, penyadapan, penampungan lateks, bahan pembeku yang digunakan dan tempat penggumpalan lateks/slab, 2) rata-rata kadar karet kering di daerah penelitian sebesar 49,99 persen, 3) secara simultan faktor jenis klon, umur tanaman, bahan non karet (tatal), media penyimpanan dan waktu penyimpanan berpengaruh terhadap mutu bokar, sedangkan secara parsial faktor umur tanaman, bahan non karet (tatal) dan media penyimpanan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap mutu bokar. Faktor jenis klon dan waktu penyimpanan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap mutu bokar. This study aims to: 1) describe the general description of the process of forming bokar in North Musi Rawas Regency, 2) examine the quality of farmer's bokar in North Musi RawasRegency, 3) analyze the influence of clone type factors, plant age, non-rubber material (tatal), media storage and storage time on bokar quality. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The analysis used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis. This research was conducted in North Musi Rawas District, Rawas Ulu District, namely Lesung Batu Village, Lesung Batu Muda Village and Sungai Kijang Village. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling with a total sample size of 44 farmers. The results showed that 1) the process of forming bokar started from preparation, tapping, latex storage, the freezing material used and the latex/slab clumping, 2) the average dry rubber content in the study area was 49.99 percent, 3) simultaneously Factors such as clone type, plant age, non-rubber material (chip), storage media and storage time have an effect on the bokar quality, while partially the plant age, non-rubber material (chip) and storage media have a significant effect on the bokar quality. Factors of clone type and storage time did not significantly affect the quality of bokar.
