Abstract
Accountability is implemented in Indonesia based on Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 7 of 1999, as a new concept development and is expected to be able to realize good governance. Where, the government is obliged to account for the success and failure of the implementation of an organization. The Organizational Bureau receives the evaluation results from the Government Regulation on the Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform. What is the level of performance accountability and accountability for the use of results-oriented budgets, as well as efforts to improve performance indicators. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by means of observation, interviews with related parties. Data analysis technique is done by organizing the data and sorting it into manageable units. The results of the study indicate that the accountability of the organizational bureau has been carried out well, in terms of performance reporting that leads to the results of the program and the effectiveness of activities has increased and improved compared to the previous year. This is a strategic step in an effort to create excellent, transparent and accountable government apparatus services. Keywords: Accountability, performance indicators, effort
