Abstract

PT Pertamina Fuel Terminal Jambi is a state company that carries out activities of receiving, stockpiling and distributing fuel for the Jambi Province marketing area. Factors that influence employee performance in a company are occupational safety and health factors and the physical condition of the work environment. Based on the results of practical work at PT Pertamina Fuel Terminal Jambi, there are problems with occupational safety and health that can affect employee performance in the company environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of OSH as well as the effect of the physical condition of the work environment on employee performance, and to find out which factors are most dominant on employee performance. This research was conducted quantitatively using a survey method using a questionnaire and then analyzed using the chi-square test. The conclusion from this study is that occupational safety and health do not affect employee performance while the physical condition of the work environment influences employee performance. The most dominant factor affecting employee performance is the physical condition of the work environment. This happens because occupational health safety has been well implemented at PT Pertamina Fuel Terminal Jambi, while the physical conditions of the work environment need to be improved again so that all employees feel safe while working in the company environment.Keywords: Occupational Health Safety, Employee Performance
