Abstract

ABSTRAK Ayu Elsanti. Hubungan Peran Penyuluh Pertanian Terhadap Pengelolaan Usahatani Kelapa Dalam (Cocos nucifera L) di Kecamatan Mendahara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Dibimbing Oleh Ibu Aprollita, S.P., M.Si dan Ibu Ir. Yusma Damayanti, M.Si Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui peran penyuluh terhadap pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam (Cocos Nucifera L) di Kecamatan Mendahara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur; 2) untuk mengetahui tingkat pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam (Cocos Nucifera L) di Kecamatan Mendahara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur dan 3) untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran penyuluh terhadap pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam (Cocos Nucifera L) di Kecamatan Mendahara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan jumlah 100 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran penyuluh pertanian terhadap pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam (Cocos Nucifera L) dan tingkat pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam (Cocos Nucifera L) di Kecamatan Mendahara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur berada pada kategori rendah. Hasil uji chi-square diperoleh nilai pearson chi-square (x2) sebesar 0,192 (x2<xtabel), sehingga peran penyuluh pertanian memiliki hubungan yang tidak nyata terhadap tingkat pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam di Kecamatan Mendahara. Kesimpulan peran penyuluh pertanian tidak berhubungan terhadap pengelolaan usahatani kelapa dalam (Cocos Nucifera L) di Kecamatan Mendahara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Yusma Damayanti, M.Sc The aims of this study were: 1) to determine the role of extension workers in the management of deep coconut farming (Cocos Nucifera L) in Mendahara District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency; 2) to determine the level of management of deep coconut farming (Cocos Nucifera L) in Mendahara District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency and 3) to determine the relationship between the role of extension agents and the management of deep coconut farming (Cocos Nucifera L) in Mendahara District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Sampling using random sampling with a total of 100 people. Data analysis used the chi-square test. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the role of agricultural extension agents in the management of deep coconut farming (Cocos Nucifera L) and the level of management of deep coconut farming (Cocos Nucifera L) in Mendahara District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency were in the low category. The results of the chi-square test obtained a Pearson chi-square (x2) value of 0.192 (x2<xtable), so that the role of agricultural extension workers has no significant relationship to the level of deep coconut farming management in Mendahara District. The conclusion of the role of agricultural extension workers is not related to the management of deep coconut farming (Cocos Nucifera L) in Mendahara District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency.
