Abstract

- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan jumlah limbah yang dihasilkan pada UMKM gula cetak tebu dan untuk memberikan alternatif peluang penerapan produksi bersih dengan menghitung kelayakan finansial yang bisa diterapkan pada UMKM gula cetak tebu. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Proses produksi dari UMKM Gula cetak terdiri dari pemotongan, penggilingan, pemasakan, pencetakan dan pengemasan. Berdasarkan analisis neraca massa, dengan bahan baku sebanyak 470 tebu batang menghasilkan nira 281 kg, dan output yang dihasilkan 55 kg gula cetak. Limbah yang dihasilkan berupa serpihan tebu sebanyak 1 kg, ampas tebu sebanyak 186 kg, ampas tersaring sebanyak 2 kg, dan abu 24,5 kg. Terdapat 4 peluang produksi bersih yaitu penerapan Good house keeping, pembuatan limbah ampas tebu menjadi pakan ternak, pembuatan abu kayu bakar dan abu ampas tebu menjadi abu gosok dan pembuatan cerobong asap. This study aims to identify the type and amount of waste generated in sugar cane molding SMEs and to provide alternative opportunities for the application of clean production by calculating the financial feasibility that can be applied to sugar cane molding SMEs. The data used are primary and secondary data. This research uses descriptive and quantitative methods. The production process of molded sugar SMEs consists of cutting, milling, cooking, printing and packaging. Based on the mass balance analysis, with as many as 470 sugarcane stems as raw material, it produces 281 kg of sap, and the resulting output is 55 kg of printed sugar. The waste produced is in the form of 1 kg of sugarcane flakes, 186 kg of bagasse, 2 kg of filtered pulp, and 24.5 kg of ash. There are 4 clean production opportunities, namely the application of good house keeping, the manufacture of bagasse waste into animal feed, the manufacture of firewood ash and bagasse ash into rub ash and the manufacture of chimneys.
