Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan starter T. harzianum pada pengomposan limbah ampas tebu terhadap kualitas briket serta menetukan konsentrasi optimal dari starter T. harzianum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu tanpa starter T. harzianum (P0), 2% starter T. harzianum (P1), 6% starter T. harzianum (P2), dan 10% starter T. harzianum (P3) dengan 6 kali pengulangan sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Parameter yang diuji adalah, kadar air, kadar abu, nilai kalor dan laju pembakaran. Data diuji menggunakan uji ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s New Multiple Ranges Test (DNMRT) dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil uji DNMRT menunjukkan bahwa, nilai kadar air pada perlakuan konsentrasi 2% (P1), 6% (P2) dan 10% (P3) tidak berbeda nyata, tetapi berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan kontrol (P0), demikian dengan nilai kadar abu dan laju pembakaran. Pengujian nilai kalor tidak dilanjutkan uji DNMRT dikarenakan nilai kalor tidak berpengaruh terhadap penambahan starter T. harzianum dalam pengomposan limbah ampas tebu. Konsentrsai optimal dari penambahan starter T. harzianum dalam pengomposan limbah ampas tebu yaitu pada konsentrasi 2% (P1). Hasil produk dari penelitian ialah e-comic yang digunakan sebagai materi ajar praktikum mikologi. This research was conducted to determine the effect of using T. harzianum starter in composting bagasse waste on briquette quality and to determine the optimal concentration of T. harzianum starter. This study was an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely no T. harzianum starter (P0), 2% T. harzianum starter (P1), 6% T. harzianum starter (P2), and 10% starter T. harzianum (P3) with 6 repetitions so that there were 24 experimental units. The parameters tested were moisture content, ash content, calorific value and burning rate. The data was tested using the ANOVA test and continued with the Duncan's New Multiple Ranges Test (DNMRT) with a 95% confidence level. The results of the DNMRT test showed that the water content values at concentrations of 2% (P1), 6% (P2) and 10% (P3) were not significantly different, but significantly different from the control treatment (P0), as well as the values of ash content and rate of burning. The calorific value test was not continued with the DNMRT test because the calorific value did not affect the addition of T. harzianum starter in composting bagasse waste. The optimal concentration of T. harzianum starter in composting bagasse waste is at a concentration of 2% (P1). The product of the research is e-comic which is used as teaching material for mycology practicum.
