Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran saluran pemasaran kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur (2) Untuk menganalisis saluran pemasaran yang memberikan tingkat efisiensi tertinggi berdasarkan nilai margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya, efisiensi teknis, efisiensi ekonomis di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua saluran pemasaran kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Saluran I menggambarkan proses pemasaran dimulai dari petani – pedagang pengumpul – pabrik, saluran II menggambarkan proses pemasaran kelapa sawit terjadi dimulai dari petani – pedagang pengumpul – pedagang besar – pabrik. Harga yang diterima petani pada saluran I lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan harga yang diterima petani pada saluran II. Setiap saluran pemasaran kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Tanjung Timur dikatakan efisien berdasarkan nilai margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya. Saluran pemasaran yang lebih efisien ialah saluran I karena memiliki nilai indeks efisiensi teknis terkecil dan nilai efisiensi ekonomis tertinggi. Saluran ini dikatakan lebih efisien karena memiliki tingkat biaya terendah dan mampu memberi tingkat keuntungan yang paling besar. Kata Kunci: Saluran Pemasaran, Efisiensi Pemasaran, Kelapa Sawit. ABSTRAC This study aims to (1) To describe the marketing channels for oil palm in East Tanjung Jabung Regency (2) To analyze the marketing channels that provide the highest level of efficiency based on marketing margin value, farmer's share, profit to cost ratio, technical efficiency, economic efficiency in Districts Tanjung Jabung Timur. The results showed that there were two marketing channels for palm oil in Districts Tanjung Jabung Regency. Channel I describes the marketing process starting from farmers - collectors - factories, channel II describes the marketing process of palm oil starting from farmers - collectors - wholesalers - factories. The price received by farmers in channel I is higher than the price received by farmers in channel II. Each marketing channel for palm oil in Districts Tanjung Jabung Timur is said to be efficient based on the value of marketing margins, farmer's share, and profit to cost ratio. The more efficient marketing channel is channel I because it has the smallest technical efficiency index value and the highest economic efficiency value. This channel is said to be more efficient because it has the lowest level of costs and is able to provide the greatest level of profit. Keywords: Marketing Channels, Marketing Efficiency, Palm Oil.
