Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of institutional ownership, number of commissioners, company size, and company growth on the financial performance of banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2019. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample used in this study amounted to 28 companies. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The software used for data processing is SPSS version 25 for windows. The results of hypothesis testing show that simultaneously, institutional ownership, number of commissioners, company size, and company growth have an effect on financial performance. The results of partial hypothesis testing show that the number of commissioners has an effect on financial performance, while institutional ownership, company size, and company growth have no effect on financial performance.
