Abstract

ABSTRACT Winda 2021. T-PACK Profile of Students of English Education Study Program in Universitas Jambi. Thesis. English Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Jambi. The first supervisor: Hidayati, S.Pd., M.Pd. The second supervisor: Dedy Kurniawan, S.S, M.A. The aim of this research is to describe the T-PACK Profile of Students of the English Education Study Program at Jambi University. The lack of research on the readiness of T-PACK Students, especially in the Jambi University English Education Study Program, is the biggest reason for researchers. The data in this study were collected using a questionnaire, and analyzed by descriptive analysis. This study involved 63 Jambi English language education students from the 2017 and 2018 batches, as research participants. From the results of this study, researchers found various research results regarding the TPACK Profile in English Students at Jambi University Class of 2017 and 2018. From the results of the study, it was found that the TPACK abilities of the Jambi University English Education Students were as follows: The overall TPACK Profile obtained an average of 3.77. Technological Knowledge obtained an average of 4. Content Knowledge obtained an average of 3.89. Pedagogical Knowledge obtained an average of 3.7. Pedagogical Content Knowledge obtained an average of 3.74. Technological Content Knowledge obtained an average of 3.88. Technological Pedagogical Knowledge obtained an average of 3.79. From the data above, it can be concluded that Jambi University English Education students are said to have an understanding and competence in TPACK. However, the English language education study program must provide more TPACK enrichment and adequate technology integration for each stage of English proficiency in order to graduate students who are competent in TPACK.
