Abstract

Background : The minimum service standard (SPM) for pregnant women in Jambi City has not yet reached the target set by the Minister of Health. Puskesmas officers still lack coordination regarding the MCH program and facilities that are not optimal. Research purposes : To see the readiness of first-level health facilities in an effort to fulfill the minimum service standards for pregnant women at the Jambi City Health Center. Method : The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted at Pakuan Baru Health Center, Rawasari Health Center, Paal X Health Center and Paal Merah II Health Center in April and continued in June. There were 33 informants in this study, 1 key informant, 12 supporting informants from health center staff and 20 supporting informants for pregnant women. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Result : The human resources at the 4 Jambi City Health Centers are up to standard both in terms of quality and quantity. The infrastructure available at the Puskesmas is in accordance with the standards. However, 3 out of 4 Community Health Centers have problems in terms of small poly rooms. Funds earmarked for the health of pregnant women come from APBD, APBN, and BLUD funds. The targeting of pregnant women in 4 Jambi City Health Centers is ready, using projected data and real data. The quantity of ANC services in 4 Jambi City Health Centers is in accordance with the standard, namely 6 times, but the achievements have not reached the set targets. The quantity of ANC services at 3 Puskesmas is good, while 1 Puskesmas is not optimal. The indicator achievement for all pregnant women receiving services in accordance with the minimum service standards for pregnant women's health at 4 Puskesmas in Jambi City has not reached the target set by the Government, which is 100%. Conclusion : The readiness of first-level health facilities in fulfilling the minimum service standards for pregnant women's health at 4 Puskesmas in Jambi City has not yet reached the target. The Puskesmas is not fully prepared to provide health services to pregnant women. Therefore, there is a need for support for programs and activities carried out by first-level health facilities in the 4 Jambi City Health Centers. Keywords : FKTP readiness, minimum service standards, pregnant women
