Abstract
White tumeric (Curcuma zedoaria) is a plant that has antioxidant activity. This study aimed to test the stability of the body lotion formulation containing the rhizome of C. zedoaria with four types of formula (K-/without extract; F1, F2, F3 each with a concentration of 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and control) and K+/product on the market. This research is an experimental study that went through the preparation stage, extraction using 96% ethanol using the maceration method, formulation and testing the stability of the body lotion preparation. The stability test through the posttest control only group design approach with the cycling test method was carried out in 6 cycles (1 cycle for 2x24 hours) at 40°C and 40°C. The parameters observed in the cycling test included organoleptic values, homogeneity, pH, dispersibility, and adhesion. The results of this study showed that the body lotion of C. zedoaria rhizome did not show any changes in organoleptic properties and homogeneity from cycles 1 to 6, dispersion and adhesion and pH in cycles 1 to 6 also met the standards. It can be concluded that all concentrations of samples can be formulated in the form of a stable body lotion dosage form
