Abstract

The activity of inspiration class from the health profession is the implementation of PHP2D program funding. This activity aim to increased the reading interest of elementary to junior high school students in Mendalo Indah Village in the ABDI reading house, which is also a reading house initiated through the Jambi University PHP2D funding. The health profession inspiration class is carried out in two directions, namely online via zoom for resource persons and offline, as well as presenting professional expert speakers in the health sector, namely doctors, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists, and from public health. Health profession inspiration classes are held for four weeks every Sunday at the "ABDI" Reading House (Asri, Baca, And Inspirasi), with the main target being the children of Mendalo Indah Village. Before the implementation of the activity, a health protocol was carried out. Then the resource person presented the material via zoom, and the participants were at the ABDI reading house. After that, it was followed by a question-and-answer session. Participants seemed enthusiastic in listening and asking and answering questions, and activities could run according to a predetermined schedule. Participants also actively visited the reading house during the range of inspiration class activities held.
