Abstract

The Energy Audit aims to evaluate the use of electricity in buildings and identify opportunities that can be taken to reduce electricity use. Energy Audit at UPT SMK NEGRI 4 MUSI BANYUASIN building. This study aims to determine the value of Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) and to look for Energy Saving Opportunities (PHE) in the building. This research method uses the literature study method, namely looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the cases or problems found. In this research, field studies were carried out to collect data and collect data directly from the research object and conduct interviews to obtain complete and accurate information about information. The results of the energy audit at the UPT SMK NEGRI 4 MUSI BANYUASIN building are energy consumption in a year of 10,443 kWh and the total value of IKE is 4.59 kWh/m2/year which is categorized as very efficient. In this study there are also opportunities for saving energy in the use of lamps, namely in the form of reducing usage time and replacing the use of lamps that were originally used, namely Neon lamps, replaced with LED lamps which have longer electrical resistance. As for the recommendations obtained, the replacement of lamps became 338 where initially there were 114 lamps in the building so that the total power when the lamps were replaced became 524 watts, which was originally 318 watts.
