Abstract
ABSTRACK This approach aims to findout the implementation of a scientific approach in writing exposition text students of class XB Negeri 4 Kota Jambi 2017/2018. This research method using descriptive method. Data collected using documentation, observation, and interview. This research data is planning of learning in the form of RPP. The process of writing exposition text writing in class X B SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi 2017/2018 transcript of interviews with teachers and learning process documentation of the learning process that occurred. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis observing the results of assessment of the implementation, and evaluation of learning. The result of the research show that (1) In the implementation stage of learning less implemented in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 103 (2014) on the Implementation of Primary and Upper Education Learning, because the teacher of Indonesian class XB SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi 2017/2018 less done according to the Minister of Education Regulation No. 81A (2013), teachers only measure the knowledge aspects of the text of the exposition (KI 3) and write the exposition text (KI 4) while the attitude aspect (KI 1 & KI 2) is not measured. The conclusion of this research implementation, and the evaluation of the text writing exposition based on the scientific approach in class X B SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi 2017/2018 the overall less well done. Based on the findings, it is suggested to teacher to be more careful in the compilers of RPP and to do learning process. To the school and education office and government should continue to provide training related to the implementation of scientific learnig approach in order to achieve the objectives of the Curriculum 2013.
