Abstract
ABSTRAK Afriani, Mefliza. 2022. Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (MPBP) pada Materi Menulis Teks Deskripsi Siswa Kelas VII SMP di Kota Jambi” yang disusun oleh Mefliza Afriani, NIM P2A321006 telah diperiksa dan disetujui oleh pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi menulis teks deskripsi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII D SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi pada bulan September tahun 2022. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan pengamatan. Jenis data penelitian adalah data kualitatif berdasarkan penerapan model berbasis proyek pada materi menulis teks deskripsi. Sumber data diambil dari guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VII D. Teknik pengumpulan diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan menggunakan enam fase didalamnya mengikuti langkah-langkah dari Sujana dan Sopandi (2020), yaitu mengamati fenomena, menentukan pertanyaan mendasar, mendesain perencanaan proyek, menyusun jadwal proyek, memonitor siswa dan kemajuan proyek dan menguji hasil dan mengevaluasi pengalaman. RPP yang digunakan sesuai dengan standar kelengkapan. Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dari enam langkah yang diterapkan semua berjalan dengan baik, namun masih menemui beberapa kendala dari kondisi lingkungan belajar siswa, dan pelaksanaan fase lima yang belum sempurna dijalankan karena waktu. Selanjutnya hasil tes tulisan siswa didapatkan hasil yang sangat mampu, mampu dan cukup mampu dari enam kelompok yang membuat hasil tulisan kelompok melalui data yang diobservasi di lapangan mengenai keindahan sekolahnya. Selanjutnya, diperoleh data untuk tulisan individu diperoleh sembilan dalam kategori tulisan sangat mampu, sebelas kategori mampu, dan tiga tulisan kategori cukup mampu. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perencanaa RPP relevan dengan pelaksanaan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan menerapkan enam langkah dari pelaksanaannya, namun masih terdapat kendala yang masih dapat diatasi oleh guru. Hasil penilaian siswa mengalami perubahan dari paparan yang disampaikan oleh guru melihat hasil proyek secara berkelompok dan individu. Kata kunci: penerapan, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, menulis teks deskripsi ABSTRACT Afriani, Mefliza. 2022. “The application of the Project-Based Learning Model (MPBP) on the Material of Writing Description Texts for Class VII Junior High School Students in Jambi City”, which was prepared by Mefliza Afriani, NIM P2A321006 has been checked and approved by the supervisor. This study aims to apply a project-based learning model to the material for writing descriptive text. This research was conducted in class VII D of SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City in September 2022. The approach used in this research is a case study with a type of qualitative research. This research data obtained by observation. The type of research data is qualitative data based on the application of a project-based model to the material for writing descriptive text. Sources of data were taken from Indonesian language teachers and students of class VII D. Collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews and tests. The results of this study show that the application of the project-based learning model uses six phases in it following the steps of Sujana and Sopandi (2020), namely observing phenomena, determining basic questions, designing project plans, compiling project schedules, monitoring students and project progress and testing results and evaluate experiences. The RPP used is in accordance with the standard of completeness. The implementation of the project-based learning model of the six steps that was implemented all went well, but still encountered several obstacles from the conditions of the student learning environment, and the implementation of phase five which had not been perfectly implemented due to time. Furthermore, the results of the students' writing tests obtained very capable, capable and quite capable results from the six groups who made group writing results through data observed in the field regarding the beauty of their school. Furthermore, the data obtained for individual writing was obtained nine in the category of very capable writing, eleven capable categories, and three writing categories quite capable. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the RPP planning is relevant to the implementation using a project-based learning model by implementing the six steps of its implementation, but there are still obstacles that the teacher can overcome. The results of student assessments have changed from the presentation delivered by the teacher to see the results of the project in groups and individually.
