Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat keanekaragaman jenis dan populasi Arthropoda serta fungsi ekologisnya pada agroekosistem tanaman kunyit di Desa Ibru Kecamatan Mestong Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Pada penelitian ini Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purpusive sampling yaitu penentuan sampel secara sengaja berdasarkan penggunaan mulsa 5,04 kg dan pupuk kotoran ayam sebanyak 10,5 kg untuk setiap bedengan. Kelimpahan jenis dan populasi Arthropoda diambil dengan menggunakan alat yellow pan trap dan pitfall trap yang dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali (10, 40, 70 dan 100 hst). Data jenis dan populasi Arthropoda yang didapatkan ditabulasikan berdasarkan waktu pengamatannya menggunakan Microsoft excel 2019. Selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan beberapa rumus, yaitu indeks keanekaragaman (H’), indeks dominansi (D) dan indeks kemerataan (E). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keanekaragaman jenis dan populasi yang relative berbeda pada setiap waktu pengamatan. Pada pengamatan 10 hst jenis dan populasi Arthropoda yang ditemukan sebanyak 1 kelas, 5 ordo, 14 famili dan 17 spesies. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu jenis dan presentasi Arthropoda yang ditemukan, yaitu predator sebanyak 53%-86% yang terdiri dari 23 spesies, herbivor sebanyak 9%-38% yang terdiri dari 8 spesies, parasitoid sebanyak 4%-9% yang terdiri dari 4 spesies, dan polinator sebanyak 2% yang terdiri dari 1 spesies. Jenis Arthropoda predator yang dominan ditemukan adalah spesies Crematogaster sp yang berasal dari ordo Hymenoptera dan famili Formicidae. This research was conducted to look at the diversity of species and populations of arthropods and their ecological functions in the turmeric agro-ecosystem in Ibru Village, Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency. In this study, sampling was carried out using purpusive sampling method, namely the purchase of samples purposively based on the use of 5.04 kg of mulch and 10.5 kg of chicken manure for each bed. Species abundance and Arthropod populations were taken using the yellow pan trap and pitfall trap which were carried out 4 times (10, 40, 70 and 100 dap). Arthropod species and population data obtained were tabulated based on the time of observation using Microsoft Excel 2019. Then it was analyzed using several formulas, namely the netted index (H'), dominance index (D) and evenness index (E). The results showed that there were relatively different species and populations at each observation time. In the 10 hst observation of Arthropod species and populations, 1 class, 5 orders, 14 families and 17 species were found. The conclusion of this study is the type and presentation of the arthropods found, namely predators as much as 53%-86% consisting of 23 species, herbivores as much as 9%-38% consisting of 8 species, parasitoids as much as 4%-9% consisting of 4 species, and pollinators as much as 2% consisting of 1 species. The dominant type of Arthropod predator found was the species Crematogaster sp from the order Hymenoptera and the family Formicidae.
