Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many changes were made to continue to carry out learning activities amid strict rules regarding social distancing. As in Jambi University all activities were online. In this case, proposal seminars and thesis exams were also online. Therefore, this study discussed Students' Perception of Online Proposal Seminar and Thesis Examination by Using Zoom Cloud Meeting during The Covid-19 Pandemic. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with interviews. 8 participants were interviewed who were selected through purposive sampling. The results of this study are: most students have a positive opinion about using the Zoom application for online seminar proposals and thesis exams. The support with the Zoom application can help them faster online seminar proposals and thesis exams and can also save costs and money. Problems experienced by students in conducting online seminar proposals and thesis exams using Zoom include internet connection problems, ability problems using the Zoom application, and problems with Zoom premium accounts.
