Rasa tidak puas dan keinginan untuk diterima oleh pengguna Instagram lain tersebut merupakan bentuk kurangnya salah satu bagian dari mawas diri pada diri seseorang. Tujuan : Melihat adakah hubungan antara mawas diri dan citra tubuh pada remaja pengguna Instagram di Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jambi. Metode : Metode penelitian kuantitatif crossectional. Populasi mahasiswi di Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jambi dengan total sampel 93 orang menggunakan teknik stratifikasi proposional. Skala disebarkan secara langsung dan daring. Analisis data menggunakan spearman’s correlation. Hasil : Hubungan antara mawas diri dan citra tubuh pada remaja pengguna Instagram di Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jambi menghasilkan kolerasi positif lemah dengan nilai r sebesar 0,363 p value <0,001. Kesimpulan dan Saran : Mawas diri memiliki hubungan positif dengan citra tubuh Oleh karena itu, mahasiswi di Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jambi disarankan untuk meningkatkan rasa cinta pada citra tubuhnya sendiri. Dissatisfaction and desire to be accepted by other Instagram user. The other is a form of lack of one part of self-compassion. Aim : Seeing if there is a relationship between self-compassion and body image in adolescent Instagram user at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Jambi. Method : Quantitative research methods crossectional. The population of female students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Jambi with total sample of 93 used proportional stratification technique. Scales are deployed in person and online. Data analysis using spearman’s correlation. Results : Relationship between self-compassion and body image in adolescent Instagram users in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Jambi, resulted in a weak positive correlation with an r value of 0.363 pvalue <0,001. Conclusions and recommendations : Self-compassion has a positive relationship with body image. Therefore, female students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Jambi University are advised to increase their love for their own body image.
