Abstract

Students can access a variety of tools to help in their online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The learning management system (LMS) is one of the tools that students can use to help them on their online learning activity. Students at Jambi University have access to https://elearning.unja.ac.id/, it is the learning management system (LMS) website for Jambi University students. Due to the activity of using this LMS UNJA as a tool to help students for their study during the Covid-19, thus this study explores students' perceptions of using Jambi University's learning management system (LMS). This research was conducted using qualitative methods with interviews. Eight participants were interviewed who were selected through purposive sampling. The results of this study are: The students have a positive perception on the use of LMS during the Covid-19 pandemic, and LMS UNJA is well accepted by students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Besides, students think that using the LMS during the Covid-19 is an effective way to help their learning process. It makes them easier to collect assignments and materials from lecturers, organizes their learning activities, and reminds them about the deadline of their assignment.
