Abstract

The purposes of this study were to describe students perception toward lecturers corrective feedback in speaking for general purposes. This research was descrptive quantitative study and used questionnaire to collect the data. The respondent of this study were 50 students from the first semester in English education at Universitas Jambi. The results of this research show that in average the students have positive perception while there are only very few number of students have negative perception toward the use of feedback by the lecturers in correcting their speaking errors. It is regarded by the 15 statement asked. It can be concluded that almost all of the students have positive perception toward corrective feedback used by the lecturers in correcting errors made by the students in speaking for general purposes at speaking class activity.
