Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perkembangan dan pengaruh aglomerasi industri, IPM, angkatan kerja dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto di pulau sumatra 2011-2020. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dengan model analisi data panel menggunakan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Penelitian ini menggunakan data runtun waktu (time series), mulai dari tahun 2011-2020. Serta menggunakan 10 Provinsi yang ada di Pulau Sumatera. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif- kuantitatif. Alat analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Indeks Hoover Balassa dan Regresi Data Panel. Berdasarkan hasil olahan data menunjukan bahwa perkembangan variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi, IPM, angkatan kerja, dan anglomerasi industri cendrung berfuktuatif di pulau sumatra selama periode penelitian. Hasil analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM), diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel aglomerasi industri, Angkatan kerja dan IPM berpengeruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Pulau Sumatera. Kata kunci: Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, IPM, angkatan kerja, dan anglomerasi ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze the development and influence of industrial agglomeration, HDI, labor force and Gross Regional Domestic Product on the island of Sumatra 2011-2020. The type of data used in this study is secondary data with a panel data analysis model using an approachFixed Effect Model (FEM). This study uses time series data(time series), starting from 2011-2020. As well as using 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra. The source of the data in this study was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The research method used in this study was a descriptive-quantitative analysis method. The data analysis tool in this study uses the Hoover Balassa Index and Panel Data Regression. Based on the results of processed data, it shows that the development of economic growth variables, HDI, labor force, and industrial agglomeration tends to fluctuate on the island of Sumatra during the study period. The results of panel data regression analysis using the approachFixed Effect Model (FEM), the results show that the variables of industrial agglomeration, work force and HDI have a positive and significant impact on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Sumatra Island.
