Abstract

ABSTRAK ARGA RISKI SAPUTRA. Hubungan Sikap Petani Terhadap Penerapan Teknik Budidaya Sayuran Sawi Di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan teknik budidaya sayuran sawi di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi. 2) Untuk mengetahui sikap petani terhadap penerapan teknik budidaya sayuran sawi di Kecamatan Pall Merah Kota Jambi. 3) Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara sikap petani terhadap penerapan teknik budidaya sayuran sawi di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (Purpossive). Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Simple Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 sampel. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan analisis korelasi dengan menggunakan metode Rank Spearmen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa: 1) Penerapan teknik budidaya sayuran sawi pada petani di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu, pemilihan benih, pengolahan lahan, pembibitan, penanaman, pengendalian OPT (Organisme Penggangu Tanaman) dan Panen. Rata-rata penerapan teknik tersebut berada pada kategori tinggi atau sebagian besar petani menerapkan teknik tersebut sesuai anjuran. 2) Sikap petani di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi berada pada angka antara 78-80 persen memiliki sikap positif dalam teknik budidaya sayuran sawi tersebut. 3) Hubungan antara sikap petani dengan penerapan teknik budidaya sayuran sawi berada pada tingkat signifikan sebesar 0,019 lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas sig 0,05 (0,019 < 0,05) Artinya Ho di tolak dan H1 diterima sehingga signifikan. The Relationship between Farmers' Attitudes towards the Application of Mustard Greens Cultivation Techniques in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. This study aims to: 1) To find out the description of the application of mustard greens cultivation techniques in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. 2) To find out the attitude of farmers towards the application of mustard greens cultivation techniques in Pall Merah District, Jambi City. 3) To analyze the relationship between farmers' attitudes towards the application of mustard greens cultivation techniques in Paal Merah District, Jambi City. Determining the location of the research was done purposively (purposive). The sampling method used in this study is Simple Random Sampling with a total sample of 53 samples. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and correlation analysis using the Rank Spearmen method. Based on the results of the study that: 1) The application of mustard greens cultivation techniques to farmers in Paal Merah District, Jambi City was carried out in several stages, namely, seed selection, land preparation, seeding, planting, OPT (Plant Pest Organisms) control and Harvesting. The average application of this technique is in the high category or most farmers apply the technique as recommended. 2) The attitude of farmers in Paal Merah District, Jambi City, is between 78-80 percent having a positive attitude towards the mustard greens cultivation technique. 3) The relationship between farmers' attitudes and the application of mustard greens cultivation techniques is at a significant level of 0.019, less than the sig probability value of 0.05 (0.019 <0.05).
