Abstract
This research is aimed to discover the difficulties that the English Education Study Program students during virtual classroom which uses the Problem-based Learning method. The participants of this research was students of English Education Study Program in Jambi University that had been following the teaching and learning activities in Micro Teaching class. This research uses a qualitative research design. The data of this research were collected by semi -structured interview with 10 main questions. In conducting the virtual classroom, students and lecturer mainly use Zoom Meeting App that can be accessed through their smartphone or their computer. The finding showed that students’ faced several difficulties toward Problem-based Learning in virtual classroom. These difficulties mainly came from the bad internet connection and the preference between virtual classroom and traditional classroom. Students’ who had experienced these difficulties used several alternative solutions to manage the bad internet connection and lack of time management. Meanwhile, the students was still looking for another solutions to manage another difficulties.
