Abstract

ABSTRACT Background : Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease that is influenced by the environment and people's behavior. This disease is caused by the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito which transmits the dengue virus. The aim of this research is to find out the factors related to the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the Working Area of the Kenali Besar Health Center in 2022. Methods : Quantitative method using a cross-sectional approach. The population is 16,721 families with a sample of 86 respondents, the sample technique uses random sampling. Result : The relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable was the relationship between knowledge (p=0.020), support from health workers (p=0.034), role of jumantik cadres (p-0.045) and support for DHF prevention measures. Meanwhile, the attitude variable (p=0.123) had nothing to do with DHF prevention. Conclusions : There is a relationship between knowledge, the support of health workers, and the role of jumantik cadres with the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and there is no relationship between attitudes and prevention of DHF in the Working Area of the Kenali Besar Health Center in 2022. It is expected that each individual's awareness will always carry out environmental hygiene and prevention of DHF to determine the breeding of the Aedes agypti mosquito. Keyword : Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), Knowledge, Attitudes, Support of Health Officers, Role of Jumantik Cadres.   ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit menular yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan dan perilaku masyarakat. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh gigitan nyamuk aedes aegypti yang menularkan virus dengue. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tindakan pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kenali Besar Tahun 2022. Metode : Metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi berjumlah 16.721 KK dengan sampel berjumlah 86 responden, teknik sampel menggunakan random sampling. Hasil : Penelitian ini menggunakan uji chi-squre, hubungan antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen yaitu adanya hubungan variabel pengetahuan (p=0.020), dukungan petugas kesehatan (p=0.034), peran kader jumantik (p-0.045) dengan dukungan tindakan pencegahan DBD. Sedangkan variabel sikap (p=0.123) tidak ada hubungannya dengan tindakan pencegahan DBD. Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, dukungan petugas kesehatan, serta peran kader jumantik dengan tindakan pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue dan tidak ada hubungan antara sikap dengan pencegahan DBD di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kenali Besar Tahun 2022. Diharapkan kesadaran masing-masing individu selalu melakukan kebersihan lingkungan dan pencegahan DBD agar memutuskan perkembangbiakan nyamuk aedes agypti.
