Abstract
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an essential tool in the field of education, especially for English language learning. This study aims at exploring EFL university students’ perception toward the use of ICT for English language learning. The descriptive quantitative method was applied in this study, which involved 304 students' teachers of English Education at a state university in Jambi, Indonesia. The instrument used in collecting the data was a questionnaire. Descriptive quantitative analysis was used to analyze the data obtained in this study. The result shows that the participants’ perception was positive in some dimensions. Positive and high perceptions were found in (1) perceived ease of use, (2) perceived usefulness, and (3) attitudes. The result also found that the participants used ICT more frequently for general purposes than for English learning purposes.
