Abstract

This study aims to describe the values of education in the book fabel of the Indonesian language class VII curriculum 2013 edition revised 2016 issue kemedikbud. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive research type. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is a qualitative data analysis technique consisting of three paths, namely reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The value of education found in the book fabel of the Indonesian language class VII curriculum 2013 revised edition 2016 of Kemendikbud is (1) the value of religious education which includes: being grateful to be in the fable of "Sesama Saudara Harus Berbagi", "Gajah yang Baik Hati", and "Cici dan Serigala", say there is a greeting in the fable "Sesama Saudara Harus Berbagi", morals contained in the fable "Sesama Saudara Harus Berbagi”, discipline is contained in the fable of “Belalang Sembah”, and amanah is contained in the fable "Sesama Saudara Harus Berbagi", (2) the value of ethical education which includes: honest or not lying is found in the fable of "Kuda Berkulit Harimau", compassion for others is contained in the fable of "Belalang Sembah", and unselfishness is found in the fables of "Belalang Sembah", "Sesama Saudara Harus Berbagi", "Gajah yang Baik Hati", and "Cici dan Serigala", (3) the value of social education covering: musyawarah is in the fable "Sesama Saudara Harus Berbagi", and cooperation is on the fable "Belalang Sembah", and (4) the value of moral education which includes: mutual help is found in the fables of the "Gajah yang Baik Hati" and "Cici dan Serigala", mutual respect and not disparaging others are found in the fable "Semua Istimewa", keep the promise contained in the fable of "Gajah yang Baik Hati", and mutual forgiveness is found in the fables of "Semua Istimewa" and "Cici Cici dan Serigala". Overall, the sixth fabel of Indonesian class book VII Curriculum 2013 2016 revised edition of Kemendikbud, there are four educational values, namely: (1) the value of religious education which includes: gratitude, greeting, morals and discipline, and amanah, 2) the value of ethical education which includes: honest or not lying, compassion for others, and unselfishness, (3) the value of social education which includes: musyawarah and cooperation, (4) the value of moral education that includes: help-help, mutual respect and not underestimate others, keeping promises and mutual forgiveness.
