Abstract

IDENTIFIKASI KARAKTERISTIK AGRONOMI DAN MORFOLOGI BEBERAPA VARIETAS PADI LOKAL DI LAHAN RAWA LEBAK JUMAKIR (Program Studi Magister Agroekoteknologi Universitas Jambi) Email : jumakirvilla@gmail.com ABSTRAK Karakterisasi adalah suatu proses pengamatan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui karakter yang dimiliki suatu tanaman. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik agronomi dan morfologi serta hubungan kekerabatan beberapa varietas padi lokal lahan rawa lebak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Mudung Laut Kecamatan Pelayangan Kota Jambi Provinsi Jambi dengan agroekosistem lahan rawa lebak tengahan dari bulan Juli sampai Desember 2022. Rancangan yang digunakanAcak Kelompok (RAK) dengan tiga ulangan, dengan 14 varietas padi lokal dan dua varietas padi unggul yaitu Pandan Wangi Kuning, Mawar, Putih, Tinggi, Ketan Hitam, Napi, Serendah Layap, Bujang Berinai, Kuning, Janu, Melati, Sentani, Bendera, Pandan Wangi, Padi Merah dan Inpara 3. Data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam, apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata dari perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Scott Knott pada taraf α = 5%. Data kuantitatif untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan kekerabatan varietas padi dilakukan analisis cluster. Dari hasil penelitian Didapatkan adanya keragaman sifat kuantitatif pada berbagai varietas padi lokal rawa dan berbeda nyata pada semua variabel, namun tidak berbeda nyata pada uji lanjut terhadap persentase jumlah gabah hampa dan persentase jumlah gabah isi. Analisis tingkat kekerabatan dari beberapa varietas padi lokal rawa lebak berdasarkan sifat kualitatif memiliki tingkat kekerabatan berkisar 71% -100%. Ke enam belas varietas padi rawa lebak memiliki hubungan kekerabatan yang dekat. Sifat kualitatif yang memberikan perbedaan yaitu warna helai daun, keluar malai, tipe malai, sudut batang, warna ujung gabah, kerontokan dan aroma. Kata Kunci : Varietas padi lokal, Karakteristik kuantitatif dan kualitatif, kekerabatan dan Lahan rawa lebak. IDENTIFICATION OF AGRONOMIC AND MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SOME LOCAL RICE VARIETIES IN THE LEBAK SWAMPLAND JUMAKIR (Department of Magister Agroecotechnology, Jambi University) Email : jumakirvilla@gmail.com ABSTRACK Characterization is a process of observation with the aim of knowing the character of a plant. The aim of the study was to identify agronomic and morphological characteristics as well as the kinship of several local rice varieties in the lebak swampland. This research was carried out in Mudung Laut Village, Pelayangan District, Jambi City, Jambi Province with a middle lebak swampland agroecosystem from July to December 2022. The design used was Randomized Group with three replicates, with 14 local rice varieties and two superior rice varieties, namely Pandan Wangi Kuning, Mawar, Putih, Tinggi, Ketan Hitam, Napi, Serendah Layap, Bujang Berinai, Kuning, Janu, Melati, Sentani, Bendera, Pandan Wangi, Padi Merah dan Inpara 3. Quantitative data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance, if there are differences the real value of the treatment continued with the Scott Knott test at the level of α = 5%. Quantitative data to determine the kinship of rice varieties was carried out by cluster analysis. From the research results, It was found that there was a variation in quantitative characteristics of various local swamp rice varieties and significantly different for all variables, but not significantly different in further tests on the percentage of empty grain and filled grain. Analysis the degree of kinship several local rice varieties of swamp lebak based on qualitative characteristics has a degree of kinship ranging from 71% -100%. The sixteen varieties of swamp rice have a close kinship. The qualitative characteristics that make a difference are leaf blade color, panicle exit, panicle type, stem angle, grain tip color, hair loss and aroma.
