Abstract

ABSTRAK Tumbuhan hias adalah tumbuhan yang memiliki nilai seni yang terdiri dari tumbuhan hias daun, tumbuhan hias pohon dan tumbuhan hias bunga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode gabungan purposive sampling dan metode eksploratif atau penjelajahan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Hutan Desa Pematang Rahim. diperoleh 25 spesies, 16 genus dari 9 famili dan 2.560 individu tumbuhan hias yang ditemukan di Hutan Desa Pematang Rahim. Spesies terbanyak ditemukan pada famili Araceae ada 14 spesies dari 7 genus, disusul oleh famili Commelinaaceae ada 3 spesies, dan Arecaceae ada 2 spesies, famili Asparagaceae, Marantaceae, Rubicaceae, Gesneriaceae, dan Zingiberaceae masing-masing ditemukan 1 spesies. Jenis tumbuhan yang termasuk kedalam kategori International Union For Conservation of Nature (IUCN) yakni famili Globba sp dengan status kelangkaan Lc (Leasrt Concren). Kata Kunci : Identifikasi, Jenis Tumbuhan Hias, Hutan Desa Pematang Rahim. ABSTRACT Ornamental plants are plants that have artistic value consisting of leaf ornamental plants, tree ornamental plants and flower ornamental plants. This study used a combination of purposive sampling and exploratory methods. The results of research conducted in the Pematang Rahim Village Forest. 25 species, 16 genera from 9 families and 2,560 individual ornamental plants were found in the Pematang Rahim Village Forest. The most species were found in the family Araceae with 14 species from 7 genera, followed by the family Commelinaaceae with 3 species, and Arecaceae with 2 species, the families Asparagaceae, Marantaceae, Rubicaceae, Gesneriaceae, and Zingiberaceae found 1 species each. The plant species included in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) category are the Globba sp family with Lc (Leasrt Concren) scarcity status.
