Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan populasi laba-laba pada budidaya tanaman padi di Desa Senaning dan Lubuk Ruso Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian dilaksanakan di areal persawahan milik petani Desa Senaning dan Desa Lubuk Ruso, serta Laborotorium Hama Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi selama 4 bulan dari bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2022. Luas areal persawahan yang digunakan pada masing-masing lahan ± 5000 m2. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey pada areal persawahan Desa Senaning dan Desa Lubuk Ruso. Terdapat 10 petak sampel pada masing-masing lahan dengan ukuran masing-masing petak sampel 2 m x 2 m yang ditempatkan secaa acak. Jumlah tanaman sampel yang diamati pada setiap petak sampel adalah semua tanaman sampel kecuali tanaman pinggir. Pengamatan laba-laba dilakukan sebanyak empat kali yaitu dua kali pada fase vegetatif (7 hst dan 21 hst) dan dua kali pada fase generatif (56 hst dan 70 hst). Pengambilan sampel laba-laba dilakukan dengan tiga metode yaitu pengamatan langsung, pemasangan perangkap nampan kuning (yellow pan trap) dan perangkap jebak (pitfall trap). Pengamatan laba-laba secara langsung dilakukan pada pagi hari pukul 07.00-11.00 WIB. Perangkap jebak (pitfall trap) dipasang sebanyak 2 perangkap per petak sampel yaitu pada bagian kanan atas dan kiri bawah petak sampel. Perangkap nampan kuning (yellow pan trap) dipasang ditempat terbuka yaitu pada bagian tengah petak sampel sebanyak 1 perangkap per petak sampel. Perangkap yang terpasang dibiarkan selama 1 x 24 jam di lapangan. Laba-laba yang terperangkap diambil menggunakan kuas atau pinset kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam botol sampel berisi alkohol 70% dan selanjutnya di bawa ke laboratorium untuk diidentifikasi. Data jenis dan populasi laba-laba yang diperoleh ditabulasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis laba-laba yang mendominasi pada pertanaman padi di Desa Senaning dan Desa Lubuk Ruso adalah Padosa pseudoannulata dari Suku Lycosidae. Total individu laba-laba yang ditemukan pada pertanaman padi di Desa Senaning adalah 118 individu yang terdiri atas 19 jenis, sementara di Desa Lubuk Ruso berjumlah 94 individu yang terdiri atas 23 jenis. The purpose of this study is to identify spider species and populations in rice crops in Senaning Village and Lubuk Ruso in Batanghari District. The survey was conducted for four months from August to November 2022 in rice paddies owned by farmers in Senaning and Lubuk Ruso villages, with ±5000 square meters of pest laboratory at Jambi University Faculty of Agriculture in each country. The survey method used was the survey method in the paddy fields of Senaning Village and Lubuk Ruso Village. Each plot had 10 sample plots of 2m x 2m each, which were randomly placed. The number of sample plants observed in each sample area included all sample plants except marginal plants. Spiders were observed four times in total, twice during the vegetative period (7 hours and 21 hours) and twice during the reproductive period (56 hours and 70 hours). Sampling of spiders was performed by his three methods: direct observation, placement of yellow pan traps, and drop traps. Direct observations of spiders were made at WIB from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. For each sample area he placed two traps on the top right and bottom left of the sample area. A yellow skin trap (yellow skin trap) was placed in an open area in the middle of the sample area, one trap per sample area. Placed traps were left in the field for 1 x 24 hours. Captured spiders are removed with a brush or tweezers, placed in sample jars containing 70% alcohol, and transported to a laboratory for identification. The data obtained on spider species and populations were tabulated and analyzed descriptively. As a result, it was found that the dominant spider species in rice cultivation in Senanin and Lubuku villages is Luso Padosa pseudoannulata of the family Araneidae. The total number of spiders found in rice cultivation in Senaning village was 19 species and 118 individuals, while in Lubuk Ruso village there were 23 species and 94 individuals.
