Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh financial attitude dan locus of control terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasisiwa pendidikan ekonomi Universitas Jambi. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa pendidikan Ekonomi yang berjumlah 197 sebagai responden. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket yang disebarkan secara online. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh financial attitude terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jambi. (2) terdapat pengaruh locus of control terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jambi. (3) Terdapat pengaruh financial attitude dan locus of control terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jambi. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara financial attitude dan locus of control terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jambi. This study aims to determine the effect of financial attitude and locus of control on the financial behavior of economic education students at the University of Jambi. The population of this study is students of Economics education, totaling 197 as respondents. This research is a quantitative research. Data is collected using a questionnaire that is distributed online. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is an effect of financial attitude on the financial behavior of Economics Education students at the University of Jambi. (2) there is an influence of locus of control on the financial behavior of Jambi University Economics Education students. (3) There is an influence of financial attitude and locus of control on the financial behavior of Economics Education students at the University of Jambi. From these results it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between financial attitude and locus of control on the financial behavior of Economics Education students at the University of Jambi.
