Abstract
The research was conducted to determine the growth responses of oil palm seedlings of cocoa fruit leather compost and inorganic fertilizer combination granting in pre-nursery. The design experiment was used Completely Randomized Design with a pattern combination of cacao fruit leather compost and inorganic fertilizers of 11 treatments that is P0 = 100% inorganik fertilizers, P1 = 30 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 0% inorganic fertilizer, P2 = 30 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 25% inorganic fertilizer, P3 = 30 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 50% inorganic fertilizer, P4 = 30 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 75% inorganic fertilizer, P5 = 30 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 100% inorganic fertilizer, P6 = 50 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 0% inorganic fertilizer, P7 = 50 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 25% inorganic fertilizer, P8 = 50 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 50% inorganic fertilizer, P9 = 50 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 75% inorganic fertilizer, P10 = 50 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 100% inorganic fertilizer. The variables observed were seedlings height, diameter, total leaf area, root dry weight, shoot dry weight seedlings. The result showed that a combination of 50 g cocoa fruit leather compost and 25% of inorganic fertilizers is the best dosage on growth of oil palm seedlings in pre-nursery.
