Abstract
Student teachers’ challenges during kampus mengajar program. The goal of this study is to explore the EFL student teacher challenges during Kampus Mengajar Program. in order to contribute to educational courses, in particular for professional teacher development, to provide information and insight about Kampus Mengajar Programme, and to elaborate student teachers’ challenges. This research used Qualitative with case study method. Eight English department students were involved in this study, and the researcher employed semi-structured interviews in addition to purposeful sampling to collect samples. The findings revealed two theme that is student teachers’ background and student teachers’ challenges which is revealed some challenges that student teachers faced during Kampus Mengajar program are adaptation to school environment, limited resources, classroom management, and motivating learners. By developing effective classroom management strategies, adapting teaching materials, and utilizing motivational techniques, student teachers can navigate the challenges of teaching successfully.
