Abstract
Salah satu kriteria keberhasilan pembelajaran adalah tercapainya tujuan belajar yang sudah ditetapkan. Biologi tidak terbatas pada penguasaan konsep tetapi juga proses penemuan. Pembelajaran biologi berkaitan dengan memberikan siswa pengalaman belajar secara langsung. Media belajar dapat meningkatkan fokus dan rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap materi yang akan disampaikan guru. Pendekatan, metode dan media yang digunakan oleh guru dapat mempengaruhi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hasil pengembangan, validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan e-modul berbasis Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) terintegrasi studi kasus materi hereditas manusia terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Research and Developmnet yang menggunakan model ADDIE. Instrumen pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah angket validasi materi dan media, angket kepraktisan pendidik dan siswa serta tes. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media terhadap e-modul berbasis STEM terintegrasi studi kasus mendapat persentase sebesar 95% dan “92%” dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Kepraktisan e-modul berbasis STEM terintegrasi studi kasus menurut guru mata pelajaran biologi adalah 95% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Kepraktisan e-modul berbasis STEM terintegrasi studi kasus menurut siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar adalah “sangat baik” dengan persentase 90% dan 93%. Hasil uji Quade’s Rank Analysis of Covariance menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh besar penggunaan e-modul berbasis STEM terintegrasi studi kasus pada nilai posttest dengan mengontrol secara statistik nilai pretest siswa [F(1,62) = 12.842, p = 0.001, η p 2 = 0.172]. Terdapat pengaruh apablia p < 0.05 dan ukuran pengaruhnya besar apabila η p 2 ≥ 0.14. One of the criteria for successful learning is the achievement of predetermined learning objectives. Biology is not limited to the mastery of concepts but also the process of discovery. Biology learning is concerned with giving students hands-on learning experiences. Learning media can increase student focus and curiosity about the material that will be delivered by the teacher. Approaches, methods and media used by teachers can affect the achievement of learning objectives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of the development, validity, practicality and effectiveness of e-modules based on Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) integrated case studies on human heredity material on students' cognitive learning outcomes. This research is a type of Research and Development using the ADDIE model. The data collection instrument used was a material and media validation questionnaire, a practicality questionnaire for educators and students and tests. The results of the validation of material experts and media experts on e-modules based on integrated STEM case studies got percentages of 95% and "92%" in the "very feasible" category. The practicality of e-modules based on integrated STEM case studies according to biology teachers is 95% in the "very good" category. The practicality of the STEM-based e-module integrated with case studies according to students in the small group and large group trials was "very good" with a percentage of 90% and 93%. The results of the Quade's Rank Analysis of Covariance test show that there is a large influence of the use of STEM-based e-modules integrated with case studies on posttest scores by statistically controlling students' pretest scores [F(1.62) = 12.842, p = 0.001, η p 2 = 0.172 ]. There is an effect if p < 0.05 and the size of the effect is large if η p 2 ≥ 0.14.
