Abstract
Perkembanganrekayasaperkerasanjalanrayabeberapadekadeterakhir sangatlahpesat.Salahsatunyaadalah penggunaan berbagai jenis bahan tambah pada campuran aspal yaituAsphalt Concrete Wearing Course(AC-WC) untukmeningkatkankualitascampuranataupunmempermudahproses pelaksanaandilapangan.Prosespemadatanaspaldilapangan dilakukan pertamakalidenganprosesyangdinamakanpercobaanpemadatanaspal dilapanganatau trial compacting. Trial compacting adalahprosesuntuk menentukanbanyaknyajumlahlintasanpemdatanyangsesuaiataucocok dengankondisicampuranaspalyangdigunakanuntukpengaspalan sebuah jalan.Tujuandaripenulisaniniuntukmengetahuihubunganvariasijumlah lintasanpercobaanpemadatandi lapangandengankepadatan campuran ACWCdanMengetahuicaramenentukanjumlahlintasanpemadatanaspal berdasarkanhasil trial compacting untukcampuranAC-WCberdasarkan Spesifikasi Umum 2018. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan adalah Design Mix Formula(DMF)danTataCaraPemadatandiLapanganserta data hasil pengujiansampelhasilcoredilapangan.Darihasilperhitungankepadatan lapanganpadapercobaanpemadatanvariasi1denganjumlahlintasan12 didapatkanhasilkepadatansebesar99,18%.Percobaanpemadatanvariasi2 denganjumlahlintasan14lintasandidapakanhasilkepadatansebesar99,21 %. Pada percobaan pemadatan variasi 3 dengan jumlah lintasan 16 lintasan) didapatkanhasil98,96%.Dariketigavariasitersebutuntuklapisan laston dipilihvariasi3dengan16lintasandenganhasil98,96%,karenauntukvariasi 3 memiliki nilai kepadatan The developmentofhighwaypavementengineeringinthe last few decade hasbeen veryrapid.Oneofthemisthe use of various types of additives in theasphalt mixture,namelyAsphaltConcrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) to improvethe qualityofthemixture or simplify the implementation process in the field.The processofcompactingasphaltinthefieldiscarriedoutforthefirsttimeby a process called trial compacting. Trial compacting is a process to determine the numberofcompactionpathsthatareappropriateor compatible with the conditions of the asphalt mixture used for asphalting a road. The purpose of this paperistodeterminetherelationshipbetweenthevariationinthenumberof compactiontrialsinthefieldandthedensityoftheAC-WCmixtureandtoknow howtodeterminethenumberofasphaltcompactionpathsbasedon trial compactingresults for AC-WC mixtures based on the 2018 General Specifications.TheresearchdatacollectedisDesignMixFormula(DMF)and CompactionProceduresintheFieldaswellas data from the results of core sampletestinginthefield.Fromtheresultsoffielddensitycalculationsinthe variation1compactionexperimentwiththenumberofpasses12,thedensity resultswere99.18%.Thevariation2compactionexperimentwith14passes obtainedadensityresultof99.21%.Inthe variation 3 compaction experiment with16passestheresultwas98.96%. Of the three variations for the Laston layer,variation3with16passeswaschosenwitharesultof98.96%,because variation3hasadensityvalueclosesttotheidealvaluewiththeminimum requirementsforthe2018GeneralSpecifications.
