Abstract

Background: Work accidents are mostly caused by human consequences (unsafe actions) with a percentage of 80% -85%. Unsafe action is an accident caused by human non-compliance with safety principles, for example not using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when doing work. This study aims to determine the effect of K3 counseling with poster media on the knowledge and attitudes of workers in the dryer process regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at PT. Angkasa Raya Djambi in 2022. Method:This type of research is a Quasi Experiment using the One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sample of this research is all workers in the dryer process regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at PT. Angkasa Raya Djambi. With Wilcoxon Test analysis to see the effect. Results: The average knowledge of workers before counseling with poster media was 6.71 after counseling was 12.84. The attitude of workers before counseling with media posters 39.03 after counseling 48.46 with a p value of 0.000. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study stated that K3 counseling with poster media had an effect on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of workers in the dryer process section at PT. Angkasa Raya Djambi regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Keywords: Counselling, Knowledge, Attitude, PPE, Poster ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kecelakaan kerja sebagian besar disebabkan karena akibat manusia (unsafe action) dengan persentase 80%-85%. Unsafe action merupakan suatu kejadian kecelakaan yang disebabkan ketidakpatuhan manusia atas asas keselamatan, contohnya tidak menggunakan APD (Alat Pelindung Diri) ketika melakukan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan K3 dengan media poster terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap pekerja bagian proses dryer tentang penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di PT. Angkasa Raya Djambi Tahun 2022. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment yang menggunakan desain One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh pekerja bagian proses dryer tentang penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di PT. Angkasa Raya Djambi. Dengan analisis Uji Wilcoxon untuk melihat pengaruh. Hasil: Rata-rata pengetahuan pekerja sebelum penyuluhan dengan media poster 6,71 setelah penyuluhan 12,84. Sikap pekerja sebelum penyuluhan dengan media poster 39,03 setelah penyuluhan 48,46 dengan p value 0,000. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa penyuluhan K3 dengan media poster berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap pekerja bagian proses dryer di PT. Angkasa Raya Djambi tentang penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, Pengetahuan, Sikap, APD, Poster
