Abstract

The hegemony of the use and utilization of anthropocentric natural resources that have occurred has had an impact on the marginalizing of the socio-economic benefits of society and the environment at large, which causes injustice in society and environmental imbalances. Islam comes with bringing the islamic sustainable development discourse with the priority of benefit as the main goal of a development process. This research uses qualitative methods that use a case study approach, data collection techniques using direct observation and indepth interviews. Triangulation of data sources and SWOT analysis are used as analytical tools. Keyword : Coal, Externality. Maqashid Sharia
