Abstract

Background: Academic institutions have the main task of providing safety and health for students, staff and faculty. Public Health Science is one of the Study Programs at the University of Jambi. Based on a survey in September 2022, several risk identifications were found that threatened the security of the IKM UNJA lecture building, such as doors and windows that were not operating properly, the condition of the ceramics in the office space being damaged. Objective: to carry out OHS risk management and develop standard operating procedures for occupational safety and health Method: This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were the departments as well as lecturers and students who were directly involved in activities in the PH Science Program UNJA lecture building. Result and Discussion: The results of the research are identified safety risks of electrical installation risks. physical risks and ergonomic risks in the form of pain in the muscles, back and shoulders. The preparation of SOP OHS for the Jambi University IKM Building has been carried out, Conclusions:Conclusion of research Occupational safety and health risk management has been carried out and standard operating procedures for occupational safety and health have been prepared
