Abstract

The goals of this research are to accelerate the time of degradation process and decomposition of Eceng Gondok celluloce. Eceng Gondok washydrolized using cellulose and then total sugar content,reductioning-sugar, degree of polymerisation and equivalent dextrose are beingobserved.Experiment, 4 levels of pH treatment (3.5, 4.5,5.5 dan 6.5) and 5 levels of hidrolysis period treatment (0,6,12,18,24 hours) were design in RAKL. Factorial with 2 replication. The research showed that the highest total sugar and reductioning-sugar were resulted form the combination of hydrolysis period treatment 24 hours and pH 4.5 with the valueof 74.47 and 5.10 respectly. The value of equivalent dextrose equals with hydrolysis period and in contrast to pH, degree of poly meration is in contrast to hydrolysis period. The amount of eceng gondok cellulose succesfully decomposed to reductioning sugar by celluloce enzyme produced more oligosaccharide.
