Abstract
Lestari,Seli Tri. 2023. Pengaruh model pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap kemampuan menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMA N 8 Muaro Jambi. Skripsi Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing (1) Dr. kamaruddin, M.Pd (II) Nurfadilah M.Pd Kata kunci : Pengaruh, Mind Mapping, Teks Biografi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran mind mapping dalam pembelajaran menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMA N 8 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA N 8 Muaro Jambi pada Februari 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen. Data diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes berupa menulis teks biografi pada siswa kelas X. data selanjutnya dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre-test post-test di kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata pre-test di kelas eksperimen sebesar 55,2 dan nilai rata-rata post-test di kelas eksperimen sebesar 70 . Pada kelas kontrol rata-rata nilai pre-test nya yaitu 51,5 dan nilai post-test pada kelas kontrol sebesar 61,4. Nilai rata-rata post-test dikelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata post-test dikelas kontrol (70>61,4). Setelah melakukan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t-test, diketahui bahwa nilai sig (2-tailed) hasil dari post-test sebesar 0.000 lebih kecil dibandingkan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05, sehingga (Ho) ditolak dan (Ha) diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap kemampuan menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMA N 8 Muao Jambi. Dari kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran mind mapping dalam kemampuan menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMA N 8 Muaro Jambi. Maka dapat disarankan kepada guru untuk dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping pada proses pembelajaran terutama dalam kegiatan menulis teks biografi. Lestari, Seli Tri. 2023. This research was conducted at SMA N 8 Muaro Jambi in February 2023. This research used a quantitative research method with an experimental research design. Data obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test. Data collection was carried out by a test in the form of writing biographical texts for class X students. The data was then analyzed quantitatively with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results showed that the average pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental class were higher than the pre-test post-test average scores in the control class. The average pre-test score in the experimental class was 55.2 and the post-test average score in the experimental class was 70. In the control class, the average pre-test score was 51.5 and the post-test score in the control class was 61.4. The average post-test score in the experimental class is higher than the post-test average score in the control class (70> 61.4). After testing the hypothesis using the t-test, it is known that the sig (2-tailed) result of the post-test is 0.000 which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, so (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is an influence between the mind mapping learning model on the ability to write biographical texts for class X students of SMA N 8 Muao Jambi. From the conclusions of this study, there is a significant influence of the mind mapping learning model on the ability to write biographical texts for class X students of SMA N 8 Muaro Jambi. So it can be suggested to teachers to be able to use the mind mapping learning model in the learning process, especially in the activity of writing biographical texts.
