Abstract
Tepung kedelai adalah bahan pakan ternak yang berkualitas tinggi dimana kandungan protein yang tinggi mencapai 49%, namun memiliki degrabilitas yang tinggi (60-80%), sehingga perlu diproteksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tepung kedelai yang diproteksi (SBM-TK) sebagai suplemen protein dalam pakan terhadap konsumsi ransum, peningkatan produksi susu dan efisiensi pakan pada kambing PE. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kandang peternak, Kecamatan Mestong, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dan Laboratorium Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini dimulai pada September 2022 hingga November 2022, Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL): 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu, P0(control)= pakan basal + 0 g SBM-TK/liter susu, P1= pakan basal + 25 g SBM-TK/liter susu, P2= pakan basal + 50 g SBM-TK/liter susu, P3= pakan basal + 75 g/liter susu, P4= pakan basal + 100 g SBM-TK/liter susu. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan, produksi susu dan efisiensi pakan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan jika terdapat perbedaan antar perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap produksi susu dan Efisiensi Pakan namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap Konsumsi pakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan tepung kedelai yang di proteksi sebagai suplemen protein pada kambing perah dapat meningkat produksi susu pada ternak kambing Peranakan etawah. Soy bean meal is a high quality animal feed ingredient which has a high protein content of up to 49%, but has high degrability (60-80%), so it needs to be protected. This study aims to determine the effect of protected soy bean meal (SBM-TK) as a protein supplement in feed on ration consumption, increased milk production and feed efficiency in PE goats. The research was carried out at the cattle shed, Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency and the Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jambi University. This study began in September 2022 until November 2022. The design used was Lating Square (BSL): 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments used were, P0 (control)= basal feed + 0 g SBM-TK/liter of milk, P1= basal feed + 25 g SBM-TK/liter of milk, P2= basal feed + 50 g SBM-TK/liter of milk, P3 = basal feed + 75 g/liter of milk, P4 = basal feed + 100 g SBM-TK/liter of milk. The variables observed were feed consumption, milk production and feed efficiency. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and if there were differences between treatments it was continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that treatment had a significant effect (P<0.05) on milk production and feed efficiency but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on feed consumption. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the use of protected soy flour as a protein supplement in dairy goats can increase milk production in Etawah Peranakan goats.
