Abstract

Menurut Setiadi et al. (2014) Sengon Solomon (Paraserianthes falcataria (Miq.) Kata Kunci : Tanah Bekas Tambang Batubara, Sengon Solomon, Bintil Akar ABSTRACT According to Setiadi et al. (2014) Sengon Solomon (Paraserianthes falcataria (Miq.) Barneby & Grimes) has faster growth than the local Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria). In addition to its fast growth, Sengon Solomon also has a positive impact on the soil because the leaves are dense and easily fall off which can increase the soil material content and there are nodules on the roots which are capable of symbiotic with nitrogen-fixing bacteria so that in addition to having production benefits it is also beneficial to increase soil fertility. Hatmani, 1995). According to Cakyayanti and Setiadi (2011) mining activities carried out using the open pit mining method result in various changes in land conditions, disruption of land stability levels, emergence of various negative impacts on the environment, and damage to forest ecosystems. Improvements in ex-coal mining land can be supported through the provision of lime and organic matter. The purpose of this study was to study the interaction between dolomite lime and chicken manure compost on the growth of sengon and root nodules and the pH of ex-coal mining soil. This research was conducted in the former coal mining area of PT. Nan Riang in June 2021 to December 2021. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK), arranged in a factorial manner, that is, dolomite lime consists of three levels (0.5x Al-dd, 1 x Al-dd, and 1.5 x Al -dd/planting hole) and chicken manure compost consisting of 3 levels (1 kg, 2 kg, 3 kg/planting hole). The treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 9 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times, so there were 27 experimental plots. In the experimental plot there are 6 plants, so there are 162 plants. In each plot, 4 sample plants were randomly selected and as data at the end of the study, one sample plant was taken for observation of root nodules. The results showed that there was no interaction in the application of dolomite and chicken manure compost on the growth of Sengon solomon and root nodules and the pH of ex-coal mining soil. Giving dolomite with a dose of 1x Al-dd gives the best effect in increasing plant growth and improving soil. Giving chicken manure compost at a dose of 2 kg has a significant effect on the growth of plant roots.According to Setiadi et al. (2014) Sengon Solomon (Paraserianthes falcataria (Miq.)
