Abstract

Latar Belakang : Kurangnya pengetahuan ibu terkait diare dan sikap yang tepat dalam mencegah diare menjadi salah satu faktor balita terkena diare. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi kesehatan menggunakan media video terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang diare pada balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Putri Ayu. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre Eksperimen dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest Postest. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa media video dan kuesioner. Uji statistic yang digunakan adalah uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian : Pada penelitian ini didapatkan rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum intervensi (6.17) dan sesudah (7.63). Sedangkan hasil rata-rata sikap sebelum intervensi (30.03) dan sesudah intervensi (32.73). Hasil uji statistic uji wilcoxon diperoleh p value = 0.000 < 0.05 yang menunjukkan ada pengaruh promosi kesehatan melalui media video terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang diare pada balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Putri Ayu. Kesimpulan dan Saran : Adanya pengaruh media video terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap tentang diare pada ibu balita. Oleh karena itu, media video dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi pembelajaran untuk memberikan promosi kesehatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang diare pada balita. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan, Sikap, Media Video, Diare Background : Lack of maternal knowledge related to diarrhea and the right attitude in preventing diarrhea is one of the factors for toddlers affected by diarrhea. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health promotion using video media on the level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers about diarrhea in toddlers in the Putri Ayu Health Center Work Area. Method : This study uses the Pre-Experiment method with the One Group Pretest Postest approach. The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 30 respondents. Research instruments in the form of video media and questionnaires. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. Research results : In this study, the average knowledge before the intervention (6.17) and after (7.63) was obtained. While the average results of attitudes before the intervention (30.03) and after the intervention (32.73). The results of the Wilcoxon test statistical test obtained p value = 0.000 < 0.05 which shows that there is an influence of health promotion through video media on the level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers about diarrhea in toddlers in the Putri Ayu Health Center Work Area. Conclusions and Suggestions : The influence of video media on the level of knowledge and attitudes about diarrhea in mothers of toddlers. Therefore, video media can be used as a learning reference to provide health promotion to increase mothers' knowledge and attitudes about diarrhea in toddlers.
