Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui gambaran umum usaha perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi; 2) menganalisis alokasi penggunaan tenaga kerja dalam kegiatan usaha perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi; 3) menganalisis status keberlanjutan tenaga kerja perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi ditinjau dari tiga dimensi yaitu ekonomi, sosial dan ekologi dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 87 petani. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus matematis dan menggunakan Teknik ordinasi RAPFISH yang ditransformasikan menjadi RAP-Palmoil melalui metode Multidimensional Scaling (MDS). 1) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan usaha perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya di lokasi penelitian yaitu kegiatan pemupukan, penyemprotan, penunasan, dan pemanenan. 2) Petani menggunakan alokasi tenaga kerja yang digunakan oleh petani sampel di daerah penelitian curahan tenaga kerja terbesar dikeluarkan yaitu untuk kegiatan pemanenan yaitu 7,71 HOK/Tahun/Ha dengan rata-rata curahan jam kerjanya sebanyak 61,68 jam/tahun/ha. 3) Status keberlanjutan tenaga kerja perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya di daerah penelitian secara multidimensi memiliki status Cukup Berkelanjutan, dengan nilai indeks dimensi ekonomi 71,70 dimensi sosial 67,22 dan dimensi ekologi 57,77. Terdapat pula beberapa atribut yang sensitif di setiap dimensi terhadap pengelolaan usaha perkebunan kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Sungai Bahar. Kata Kunci: Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit, Alokasi Tenaga Kerja, Keberlanjutan This study aims, to 1) Know the general description of the business, independent oil palm plantations in Sungai Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency; 2) analyzing in the allocation of the use labor force in the bussines activities of independent oil palm plantations in Sungai Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency; 3) analyze the sustainability status of three dimensions, namely economic, social and ecological with a total 87 farmer as respondents. Data were analyzed using mathematical formulas and using the RAPFISH ordination technique which was transformed into RAP-Pal Oil, through the Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) method. 1) the result of the study show that the plantation business activities, independent oil palm, in the research location are fertilization activities, spraying, trimming, and harvesting, 2) Farmers use the allocation of labor force use by farmers, sample in the study area of the larges labor force issued are for harvesting activities, namely 7.71 HOK/year/Hectare with an average working hours of 61.68 hours/year/Hectare, 3) The status of the sustainability of plantation workers, independent oil palm in the study area multidimensionally has Sufficiently Sustainability status, with and index value of the economic dimension of 71.70, the social dimesion is 67.22 and the ecological dimension is 57.77. there are also several attributes that are sensitive in each dimension to the management of independent oil palm plantation in Sungai Bahar District.
