Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari hasil wawancara yang menunjukkan permasalahan rendahnya sikap entrepreneurship siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi. Untuk meningkatkan sikap entrepreneurship siswa tersebut maka dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik modeling dalam bimbingan karier yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan teknik modeling dalam meningkatkan sikap entrepreneurship siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode semi eksperimen. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah satu kelas dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian hasil dari pre-test mendapatkan skor rata-rata 87,36 dengan jumlah nilai bobot yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 1750 dan besarnya nilai persentase rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 50,05%. Dengan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap entrepreneurship siswa sebelum menggunakan teknik modelling dalam bimbingan karier berada pada kualitas sedang. Sedangkan hasil dari post-test menunjukkan peningkatan dengan mendapat skor rata-rata 116,88 dengan jumlah nilai bobot 2922 dan besarnya nilai persentase rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 83%. Dengan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap entrepreneurship siswa sesudah menggunakan teknik modelling dalam bimbingan karier berada pada kualitas tinggi. Selanjutnya berdasasr dari hasil uji t-test diperoleh nilai skor t hitung sebesar 8,36 dengan nilai ttabel dari taraf α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) = (n – 1) = 24 yaitu sebesar 1,7109. Sehingga hipotesis diperoleh thitung (8,36) > t tabel (1,7109). Ini berarti hipotesis Ha yang diterima dan Ho ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan terdapat efektivitas penggunaan teknik modelling untuk meningkatkan sikap entrepreneurship dalam bimbingan karier kelas XI di SMK Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi dengan t Hitung > t Tabel. Kata Kunci: Penggunaan Teknik Modelling, Sikap Entrepreneurship Dalam Bimbingan Karier Abstract The background of this research is the results of interviews which show the problem of the low entrepreneurial attitude of class XI students at SMK Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi. To increase the entrepreneurial attitude of these students, in this study the researchers used modeling techniques in career guidance which aims to determine the effectiveness of using modeling techniques in increasing the entrepreneurial attitude of class XI students at SMK Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi. The type of research used by the author in this study is a semi-experimental method. The sample of this study was one class with a total of 25 students. Based on the research results from the pre-test, an average score of 87.36 was obtained with a total weight value of 1750 and the average percentage value obtained was 50.05%. With these results, it can be concluded that the entrepreneurship attitude of students before using modeling techniques in career guidance is of moderate quality. While the results of the post-test showed an increase by getting an average score of 116.88 with a total weight value of 2922 and the average percentage value obtained was 83%. With these results, it can be concluded that the entrepreneurship attitude of students after using modeling techniques in career guidance is at high quality. Furthermore, based on the results of the t-test, it was obtained that the t-count score was 8.36 with the ttable value of the level α = 0.05 with degrees of freedom (dk) = (n - 1) = 24, which is 1.7109. So that the hypothesis is obtained tcount (8.36) > t table (1.7109). This means that the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is the effectiveness of using modeling techniques to increase entrepreneurial attitudes in career guidance for class XI at SMK Negeri 2 Muaro Jambi with t count > t table.
