Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh setiap variabel yaitu micro teaching dan pengenalan lapangan persekolahan terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru mahasiswa Pendidikan ekonomi Angkatan 2018-2019 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode Ex-post Facto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Jambi Juni 2023. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2018-2019 melalui google form. Setelah angket dibagikan, data dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan aplikasi MS. Excel dan IBM SPSS Statistic 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan micro teaching (X1) terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru (Y) mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2018-2019 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji t, terlihat bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 5,311 > 1,66320. Selanjutnya terdapat pengaruh signifikan pengenalan lapangan persekolahan (X2) terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru (Y) mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2018-2019 FKIP Universitas Jambi dengan dibuktikan melalui uji t, terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,106 > 1,66320. Secara simultan terdapat pengaruh micro teaching dan pengenalan lapangan persekolahan terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2018-2019 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji F, dimana Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 14,661 > 3,10. Hasil koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,261. Dari hasil ini penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel bebas yaitu micro teaching dan pengenalan lapangan persekolahan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan menjadi guru mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2018-2019. Disarankan kepada mahasiswa agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas micro teaching dan kualitas pengenalan lapangan persekolahan agar mahasiswa mempunyai kesiapan menjadi guru yang baik setelah lulus dari sarjana. This study aims to describe the effect of each variable, namely micro teaching and introduction to schooling on the readiness to become a teacher for Economics Education students of the 2018-2019 FKIP University of Jambi. This research is a descriptive quantitative research using the Ex-Post Facto method. This research was conducted at the Economics Education FKIP Jambi University in June 2023. The research data was obtained by distributing a questionnaire to Economics Education students class of 2018-2019 via the Google form. After the questionnaires were distributed, the data were analyzed quantitatively using the MS application. Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of micro teaching (X1) on the readiness to become a teacher (Y) of economics education students class of 2018-2019 FKIP Jambi University. This is evidenced by the t test, it can be seen that the value of tcount > ttable is 5.311 > 1.66320. Furthermore, there is a significant influence of the introduction of the school field (X2) on the readiness to become a teacher (Y) of economics education students class of 2018-2019 FKIP University of Jambi as evidenced through the t test, it can be seen that tcount > ttable, namely 4.106 > 1.66320. Simultaneously there is the influence of micro teaching and the introduction of the school field on the readiness to become a teacher for economic education students of the 2018-2019 FKIP University of Jambi. This is evidenced by the results of the F test, where Fcount > Ftable, namely 14.661 > 3.10. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.261. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the independent variables, namely micro teaching and introduction to the school field, jointly affect readiness to become teachers of Economics Education students 2018-2019 class. It is suggested to students to be able to improve the quality of micro teaching and the quality of school field introduction so that students have the readiness to become good teachers after graduating from undergraduate.
