Abstract

Abstract In this study the author will examine a village called Sangir Tengah village, Kayu Aro, Kerinci. The author heard from the village community that in the village of Sangir Tengah, during the 2019 village head election (Pilkades), money politics took place, such as vote buying and vote brokering. This research was conducted to find out and analyze the effectiveness and forms of money politics that occurred in Pilkades in Sangir Tengah village. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted on October 10, 2022, ten informants consisted of four village head candidates, one political observer, one village head election committee, and four voters using the interview method. The results of the research stated that money politics was very effective in electing the Sangir Tengah village head in 2019 because it was influenced by the poor level of education and the community's economy that was not yet established, money politics was carried out in the form of money and agricultural assistance in the form of potato seeds, money with a nominal value of IDR 200,000. - up to Rp. 800.000,-. The distribution was carried out three days before the Pilkades was held while the potato seeds were given according to the needs of the voters. The researcher suggests that in the future both the government and KPU pay more attention to money politics by improving education and the people's economy. Keywords: Effectiveness Of Money Politics, Forms Of Money Politics, Money Politic, Village Head Election Intisari Pada penelitian ini penulis akan meneliti sebuah desa yang bernama desa Sangir Tengah, Kayu Aro, Kerinci. Penulis mendengar dari masyarakat desa tersebut mengatakan bahwa di desa Sangir Tengah pada pemilihan kepala desa (Pilkades) Tahun 2019 telah terjadi politik uang seperti pembelian suara dan makelar suara. Penelitan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas dan bentuk-bentuk politik uang yang terjadi pada Pilkades di desa Sangir Tengah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada Tanggal 10 Oktober 2022, narasumber berjumlah sepuluh orang yang terdiri dari empat orang calon kepala desa, satu orang pengamat politik, satu orang panitia pemilihan kepala desa, dan empat orang warga pemilih dengan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitan menyatakan bahwa politik uang sangat efektif dalam keterpilihan kepala desa Sangir Tengah tahun 2019 karena dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan kurang baik dan ekonomi masyarakat yang belum mapan, politik uang yang dilakukan berupa uang dan bantuan pertanian berupa bibit kentang, uang dengan nomonal Rp.200.000,- sampai dengan Rp.800.000,-. Pemberian dilakukan tiga hari sebelum Pilkades dilaksanakan sedangkan bibit kentang diberikan sesuai kebutuh pemilih. Peneliti menyaranakan agar kedepanya baik pemerintah maupun KPU memberikan perhatian lebih terkait politik uang dengan cara memperbaiki pendidikan dan ekonomi masyarakat.
