Pd Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri, Hasil Belajar Sejarah Model pembelajaran pada dasarnya merupakan bentuk pembelajaran yang tergambar dari awal sampai akhir yang disajikan secara khas oleh guru. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti di SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi, terlihat rendahnya keinginan belajar dalam pembelajaran sejarah, seperti ketika proses belajar-mengajar berlangsung banyak siswa yang tidak memperhatikan pelajaran yang disampaikan guru, ada yang berbicara dengan temannya, ada juga yang melamun dikelas dan menguap pada saat guru menyampaikan materi. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara lansung, sehingga siswa pasif selama pembelajaran sejarah, sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebur adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Model Pembelajaran inkuiri menekankan kepada proses mencari dan menemukan. Materi pelajaran tidak diberikan secara lansung. Peran peserta didik dalam strategi ini adalah mencari dan menemukan sendiri materi pembelajaran, sedangkan pendididik berperan sebagai fasilitator dan pembimbing peserta didik untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS pada mata pelajaran sejarah di SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental (eksperimen semu). Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dimana masing - masing kelas berjumlah 33 orang siswa. Teknik analisis data adalah dengan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas setelah itu baru di uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 42,72 dan saat posttest setelah menggunakan model inkuiri meningkat menjadi 82,72. Pada kelas kontrol hasil belajar saat pretest nilai rata-rata 47,12 dan saat posttest meningkat menjadi 75. Dengan demikian nilai kelas eksperimen jauh lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Hasil uji t-test diperoleh hasil koefesien thitung > ttabel (8,90 > 1,6690). Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS pada mata pelajaran sejarah di SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi. Based on the observations of researchers at Muaro Jambi N Senior High School 1, there was a low desire to learn in history learning, such as when the teaching and learning process took place many students did not pay attention to the lessons presented by the teacher, some spoke with friends, some were daydreaming in class and yawning when the teacher delivered the material. This is because the teacher has not used a learning model that involves students directly, so students are passive during history learning, so student learning outcomes are still low. One solution to overcome these problems is to use inquiry learning models. Inquiry learning models emphasize the process of finding and finding. Study material is not given directly. The role of students in this strategy is to find and find their own learning material, while the educator acts as a facilitator and mentor for students to learn. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the use of inquiry learning models on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students in historical subjects at Muaro Jambi 1 State Senior High School. The research method used is quantitative methods. This type of research is experimental research and the research design used is quasi experimental (quasi-experimental). The research sample was students of class XI IPS 2 as the experimental class and XI IPS 3 as the control class where each class consisted of 33 students. The data analysis technique is an analytical prerequisite test, which is the normality test and homogeneity test after testing the hypothesis. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class pretest was 42.72 and after the posttest after using the inquiry model it increased to 82.72. In the control class the learning outcomes at pretest mean value 47.12 and when the posttest increases to 75. Thus the value of the experimental class is much higher than the control class. The results of the t-test were obtained from the results of the coefficient of tcount> t table (8.90> 1.6690). From this study it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of inquiry learning models on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students in the history subjects in Muaro Jambi 1 State Senior High School.
