Abstract

ABSTRAK Maika Aprienti,2023. “Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Ditinjau Dari Aktivitas Belajar Pada Materi Transformasi”. Prodi Magister Pendidikan Matematika. Pascasarjana Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing : (I) Dr. Dra. Nizlel Huda, M.Kes. (II) Prof. Drs. The Effect Of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) And Problem Based Learning (PBL) Models On Students Mathematical Problem Solving Ability In View Of MTS Student Learning Activities. Mathematics Education Masters Program. Jambi University Postgraduate, Advisors : (I) Dr. Dra. Nizlel Huda, M.Kes. (II) Prof.Drs. Maison, M.Si., Ph.D. The background of the problem is that there are low-level students' math problem solving in solving math problems. This study aims to determine (1) the effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, and the Direct Instruction learning model on students' mathematical problem solving, (2) the effect of high, medium, low learning activity on students' mathematical problem solving (3) interactions between Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning models, Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models, and Direct Instruction learning models with high, medium, low learning activities in influencing students' mathematical problem solving. This research is an experimental research using posttest only control design. The population of this study were all students of class IX MTsN 5 Jambi City which consisted of 191 students and were divided into 4 classes. In this study, the sample used was 114 students divided into three classes (experimental class I, experimental class 2 and control class). The sample is determined by Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study is an observation sheet of learning activities and a mathematical problem solving test. The data obtained were analyzed using a two way ANOVA test. The results of this study are (1) a sig value of 0.011 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, and the Direct Instruction learning model on students' mathematical problem solving (2) there is the influence of high, medium, low learning activities on problem solving of 0.046 (3) There is an interaction between the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, and the Direct Instruction learning model with high, medium, and high learning activities. low in influencing students' mathematical problem solving 0.035.
