Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh salah satu kawasan hutan konservasi yang memiliki keindahan alam yang menarik. Hutan Rawa Bento Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat memiliki berbagai keindahan dan keunikan satwa, salah satunya burung. Terdapat berbagai jenis burung yang ada pada hutan rawa bento yang dapat menarik perhatian wisatawan, peneliti, dan juga menunjang perekonomian warga sekitaran hutan rawa bento. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menginventarisasi keberadaan jenis burung burung di hutan rawa bento kawasan taman nasional kerinci seblat dan mengetahui ragam jenis burung di Hutan Rawa Bento Kawasan Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat. Manfaat dari penelitian ini antara lain mampu memberikan informasi ataupun rujukan bagi mahasiswa dan peneliti dalam hal ragam burung di Hutan Rawa Bento Kawasan Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat. Penelitian di lakukan selama dua bulan mulai dari bulan desember 2022 hingga januari 2023. Batasan penelitian adalah batasan yang dibutuhkan di lapangan agar pada saat melaksanakan penelitian dapat fokus dengan apa yang di teliti. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode point count. Penentuan untuk jalur pengamatan dengan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian pada Hutan Rawa Bento Kawasan Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat dijumpai beberapa jenis burung yang terdapat di lokasi penelitian. Dijumpai 10 jenis burung dari 7 famili. Salah satu jenis burung endemic yang dijumpai yaitu burung Cucak Kerinci (Pycnonotus leuchogrammicus) dan Ciung Batu Sumatera (Myophonus castaneus), Pipit Haji (Lonchura maja), Pipit coklat (Lonchura atricapilla), Itik Gunung (Salvadorina waiguiensis), Cucak Kutilang (Pycnonotus Aurigaster), Cucak Kerinci (Pycnonotus leucogrammicus) dan beberapa jenis lainnya. Dari seluruh jenis yang dijumpai tidak terdapat jenis yang merupakan satwa yang dilindungi berdasarkan PerMen LHK no. 106 Tahun 2018. Kata kunci : Purposive Sampling, Endemic ABSTRACT This research is motivated by one of the conservation forest areas which has attractive natural beauty. The Bento Swamp Forest of Kerinci Seblat National Park has a variety of beautiful and unique animals, one of which is birds. There are various types of birds in the bento swamp forest that can attract the attention of tourists, researchers, and also support the economy of residents around the bento swamp forest. The purpose of this study was to inventory the presence of bird species in the bento swamp forest in the Kerinci Seblat National Park area and to find out the various bird species in the Bento Swamp Forest in the Kerinci Seblat National Park area. The benefits of this research include being able to provide information or referrals for students and researchers in terms of the variety of birds in the Bento Swamp Forest in the Kerinci Seblat National Park. The research was conducted for two months starting from December 2022 to January 2023. Research limitations are the limitations needed in the field so that when conducting research you can focus on what is being studied. The research was conducted using the point count method. Determination for the path of observation with purposive sampling. The results of research on the Bento Swamp Forest in the Kerinci Seblat National Park area found several species of birds found in the study location. Found 10 species of birds from 7 families. One of the endemic bird species found is the Kerinci Cucak (Pycnonotus leuchogrammicus) and the Sumatran Ciung Batu (Myophonus castaneus), Haji Pipit (Lonchura maja), Brown Sparrow (Lonchura atricapilla), Mountain Duck (Salvadorina waiguiensis), Kutilang Cucak (Pycnonotus Aurigaster ), Kerinci Cucak (Pycnonotus leucogrammicus) and several other species. Of all the species found there were no species which were protected animals based on the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation no. 106 of 2018. Keywords : Purposive Sampling, Endemic
