Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) merupakan salah satu jenis sayuran yang ada di Indonesia. Pakcoy memiliki bentuk yang sangat mirip dengan tanaman sawi-sawian, akan tetapi pakcoy lenih pendek dan kompak, tangkai daun yang lebar dan kokoh, tulang daun mirip dengan sawi hijau, dan daunnya lebih tebal dari sawi hijau. Pupuk urea yang dimasukan pada tanaman akan menentukan pertumbuhan tanaman, pupuk kandang yang dimasukan pada tanaman akan memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah atau biologis tanah. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Simpang Rimbo, Kecamatan Alam Barajo, Kota Jambi, Provinsi Jambi dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2023. Percobaan ini mengunakan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk ureayang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan sehingga terdapat 25 unit percobaan yaitu perlakuan yang diberiakan yaitu k0 : 0 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 0 kg ha-1 pupuk urea (kontrol), k1 : 60 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 0 kg ha-1 pupuk urea, k2 : 40,2 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 66 kg ha-1 pupuk urea, k3 : 19,8 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 134 kg ha-1 pupuk urea, k4 : 0 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 200 kg ha-1 pupuk urea. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun total, bobot segar dan bobot segar per hektar. Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk urea pada tanaman pakcoy memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Pemberian dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk urea terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy pada penelitian ini terdapat pada perlakuan k1 : 60 ton ha-1 pupuk kandang ayam + 0 kg ha-1 pupuk urea. Pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) is a type of vegetable in Indonesia. Pakcoy has a shape that is very similar to mustard greens, however, pakcoy is shorter and more compact, the leaf stalks are wide and sturdy, the leaf bones are similar to mustard greens, and the leaves are thicker than mustard greens. Urea fertilizer added to plants will determine plant growth, manure added to plants will improve the physical or biological properties of the soil. This experiment was carried out in Simpang Rimbo Village, Alam Barajo District, Jambi City, Jambi Province and was carried out in March-May 2023. This experiment used RAL (Completely Randomized Design) with chicken manure and urea fertilizer treatment consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications so that there are 25 experimental units, namely the treatment given is k0: 0 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 0 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer (control), k1: 60 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 0 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer , k2 : 40.2 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 66 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer, k3 : 19.8 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 134 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer, k4 : 0 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 200 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, total leaf area, fresh weight and fresh weight per hectare. The application of chicken manure and urea fertilizer to pakcoy plants had a significant effect on all observed variables. The best dosage of chicken manure and urea fertilizer for the growth and yield of pakcoy plants in this study was in treatment k1: 60 tons ha-1 chicken manure + 0 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer.
